Biography:

Most writers come to into the field with a passion for grammar, punctuation and dangling participles; however, I came from the corporate world with a passion for communicating a message from the reader’s point of view.

After almost 20 years with Pearle Vision, an International Optical Retailer, where I started as a store manager and worked my way up through field management, Director of Stores for the entire corporate division, Director of Franchise Store Openings and ultimately as Director of Communication for the parent company; I amassed a variety of business experiences.

What I have learned is that whether we communicate to our employees, multi-unit managers or customers, the key to effective delivery is truly “getting” who they are and what motivates them and then crafting a message that grabs their attention.
