Small Business Summit Coming to New York
The Small Business Summit 2008 – the 3rd annual Summit — is fast approaching.
This year’s Summit takes place on Monday, February 11, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Times Square, New York.
I am going to be there. I sure hope you will be attending, because I look forward to seeing you again or meeting you if we’ve never met in person.
The theme for this year’s Small Business Summit 2008 will be: “Business & Technology: It’s Time to Reinvent Your Business.”
Agenda
The agenda includes case studies, panel discussions, networking, exhibits, breakfast, a luncheon and some great giveaways.
Here is an overview of some of the agenda:
Barry Moltz, Entrepreneurial Expert, Author, Speaker and Angel Investor
“Bounce! The Path to True Business Confidence” (luncheon)
My good friends, Ramon Ray, and Marian Banker, who co-produce the Summit will be speaking, too.
SmallBizTechnology.com, Technology Evangelist: “Technology is Not the Answer”
Introduction by Brent Leary, CRM Essentials, Moderated by Marian Banker, Prime Strategies: “What You Need Now to Succeed”
Nancy Ploeger, President, Manhattan Chamber of Commerce
Panel Presentation: “How to Transform Your Business in 40 Minutes”
I will be leading a discussion titled “From the Trenches: Reinvention Case Studies.” On the panel with me will be 3 very talented women: Laurel Touby, mediabistro.com; Jennifer Walzer, BackUpMyInfo; and Nina Kaufman, Wise Counsel Press.
Special Entrance Deals
UPDATE: The free passes all are gone now. They were snapped up in just 4 hours (last year it took five days for the free passes to go). This is going to be a popular event, I can tell.
But you can still get $20 off by using the Small Business Trends discount code: SMBTRDSC
It’s just $79 if you register before February 1, 2008 using the discount code SMBTRDSC — very affordable.
Register Now
Register now for the Small Business Summit. On February 1, 2008 the price goes up.
Last year I couldn’t get over how approachable, friendly and ready to connect everyone was. The Summit is put on by small business owners, for small business owners.
Hope to see you there!

There was no doubt in my mind that after attending last year’s event that I’d be back. I’m also donating a copy of my new book, Marketing Strategies for the Home-Based Business.
I look forward to seeing you again, Anita, and everyone who invests time in this spectacular event.
