SmallBusinessEdge.com Offers Valuable Business Research
Small Business Edge is a new resource for small business owners, just launched. The site has articles about starting, managing and growing a business. It also has a section about saving a business in trouble, too (with a red button, no less).
Today’s community sites are not just about content. They also are about sharing … participation … conversations. Small Business Edge is still brand new, but you can see some of the beginnings of these attributes. You’ll find a blog by the founder, as well as a blog for guest posts. There are plans for other third-party content to be included, also.
Small Business Edge is by Moran Media Group. Moran Media publishes print magazines in partnership with SCORE, ASBDC and other organizations serving small businesses and startup entrepreneurs.
One of my favorite sections of the site — and perhaps most valuable — is the Online Information Center. This is a branded business research portal powered by the renowned James J. Hill Reference Library. You get free access to a chunk of the Library’s exclusive collection of business research and resources that are not available to the public elsewhere, or would require paid subscriptions to get access to. You can use it to research a business plan, take a business ethics quiz, compile industry lists, and look for many other golden nuggets of research. To enter this research section, go to Small Business Edge and click on the “Business Research” link on the left column.

Lots of wonderful information on their site. I especially like reading the success stories. Well planned and organized site.
