Rob May’s BusinessPundit.com has joined the Creative Weblogging network. Congratulations Rob, and congratulations, Torsten Jacobi, CEO of Creative Weblogging! Two of my favorite professionals are now working together.

Many of you know Rob as the elder statesman of business blogging. OK, so he’s not really an “elder” statesman. He’s actually a surprisingly young guy — younger than the way he sounds when he writes (he sounds so full of wisdom). But figuratively he is elder because he was one of the first business bloggers, not to mention being one of the best known. He’s an icon, really.

The photo to the right is one I took of Rob in Miami Beach in October 2005, when we both were invited by American Express OPEN to attend their Adventures in Entrepreneurship event.

I also note that the Creative Weblogging network has brought on Randy Morin of KBCafe. Randy is writing the I Got Spam blog. While I’ve not met Randy I have followed him on his various sites and wish him well, too.

Many of you know that I have been blogging at Creative Weblogging for two years now, writing the RFID Weblog over there. During that time I have gotten to know Torsten and his wife/VP of Sales, Nicole. Last week when I was in Palo Alto I swung by their offices and had dinner with Torsten and Nicole, and finally met the other members of the Creative Weblogging team: Raik, Sonja and Mateusz.

I have learned a lot working with them. One of the things I have learned is that it’s a mistake to think as an entrepreneur you can do it all on your own. (Well, I suppose you can, but everything takes longer.)
